The Ride will be starting from Lions park in Clearwater.
Direction from I-94. Take exit 178 for MN-24 Head North East into town. Take a right onto County Road 75 go 0.2 mi Lions shelter is under water tower on Left.
Directions from HWY 10 Take MN-24 head South West towards Clearwater. Take Left onto County Road 75 go 0.2 mi Lions shelter is under water tower on Left.
We would prefer that once the Lions lot is full that Folks would park in the small shopping center parking lot. Which will be the first right after you turn onto Co Rd 75.

Some 411...
O.K. here's some more info for you and the upcoming Dirt Bag III Race.
More info soon.
Ask if you have questions.
I'm excited. Wish I was riding!
See you Saturday.
- Date is October 27th, Saturday. Hope you already knew this.
- Race start is 9 am, registration and shelter open at 8am. Promise to be on time this year!
- Directions to shelter will be up later.
- Mileage is about 103.
- Weather is currently looking cool. Come prepared. Lights and jackets not a bad idea.
- We will have water and some food around mile 62. We don't have you going through any towns but you do skirt the outside of some.
- Cue cards have been condensed to 4...pay attention.
- Cue cards will be available at registration along with a waiver.
- If you drop let us know. Phone numbers will be provided or check in at the shelter.
- Free event so respect all volunteers and be an ass to Brian and I!
- Have fun.
- Chili will be provided afterwards. Ran out last year so ride fast! We are making more.
- Coffee and goodies in the morning.
- Brian's Mom's world famous Monster Cookies.
- T-shirts (both short and long sleeve) and hoodies will be for sale. Money helps offset the costs. We don't come close to making money. This just helps to ease the pain. Labor of love!
- As with all AGRS events: you are on your own. Plan accordingly. No sag wagons, etc. This is 103 miles of gravel, not a Sunday cruise.
- Most of all: HAVE FUN.
More info soon.

Recon Day.
Some serious Dirt Bag work is getting done today. Shortly Brian and I will head out and finalize the course and get the cue cards all dialed in. 100 mile road trip! Coffee is on.
I may or may not bike the course next week sometime, and depending on my decision I may or may not have a Garmin file of the route. Torn if this is fair to have some with GPS units have the route laid out for them. I feel part of the race is navigating with the cue cards. So as it stands there will not be a GPS file...unless I'm convinced otherwise. Maybe I should sell them!!
Thanks to those that have given us a heads up if you're not able to make it. Very helpful.
Like last year we will have chili and snacks on hand.
To help offset the costs we will also be selling Dirt Bag T-shirts (short and long sleeve) and hoodies. Our costs are a bit more this year due to insurance. We both agreed it was in our best interest to have the event insured...you just never know.
We will post times, location, and other goodies yet this week.
Thanks and see you soon.

Still Here.
Yeah we're still here.
Sorry for the silence.
We've been busy with new jobs, new kids, busy at work, riding, enjoying summer, putting on mountain bike races, etc.
Now it's Dirt Bag time!
The route is being framed out, t-shirt design is being finalized, prizes being secured, and what not.
More info will be coming in the next week or so.
There has been a lot of interest about getting into the Dirt Bag so if you are on the roster and cannot make it please let us know!
dirtbagride@hotmail.com
Any other questions welcome too. Not good at math however.
Thanks.
Ben and Brian.
